NXEA Names Its Top Community Train Stations

On 23rd October NXEA held its 2009 Station Adopters Awards at Norwich City Football Club.

NXEA has encouraged and supported volunteers from local communities who have adopted their local station, helping to look after the gardens and improve the environment and community engagement at stations. Local winners of the 2009 awards are:

• Best Small Station: Burnham-on-Crouch. Highly Commended: Sudbury
• Best Staffed Station: Witham. Runner Up: Alresford
